Wisconsin Music Teachers Association Composer Commissioning Project

Student composers in Wisconsin are encouraged to submit materials for consideration in the WMTA 2012 Composer Commissioning Project. The composer who is chosen will receive a commissioning fee of $750, have the premiere performance of their work featured at the 2012 WMTA State Conference, and also be entered for consideration of the MTNA Distinguished Composer of the Year Award.

WSMA Student Composition Project

WSMA sponsors an annual Student Composition Project which invites submissions of original compositions from Wisconsin middle school and high school students. Watch WSMA's site for details on upcoming deadlines.
