From the Editor

Greetings fellow WAC members! The great job James Chenevert has done as editor has now befallen me. I want to thank him for the information he provided me during this transition. Like any new editor, I am learning while on the job. I want and request your comments and suggestions regarding the newsletter and any possible changes to make it better. As always, keep submitting your member news and proposals for articles. January 15th is the deadline for the next issue.

WAC is continuing to expand and provide further opportunities for its membership. We now have a web page that looks fantastic! All sorts of information is contained within including a members directory, calendar of events, opportunities, and links to other areas of musical interest. For those of you with Internet access, I urge you to take a look. David Drexler, who is maintaining the site, has made it quite easy for you to get information to him for inclusion.

Being a transplanted Southerner in Wisconsin (a little over two years now), I must say that I am still not a big fan of the approaching cold weather and all the snow. I did, however, recently get my snowblower repaired. Here's wishing you all a safe, warm, and musically successful holiday season. I'll talk to you again in the Spring.

Al Benner
